TiVo the leader in home digital video recording is launching new DVR this spring ready for the invasion of internet connected television sets. As well as being a slimmer and slicker looking model, the new TiVo also features a new style menu system to cater for both TV shows and Internet content.
TiVo have been struggling to keep up with changing tv habits and increased competition, the new dvr internet interaction is instantly noticable, if a viewer chooses a movie to watch, they will get the option to watch it from a cable provider or download the stream from an online provider such as Netflix, Amazon CinemaNow or Blockbuster. Users can also send their music collections straight to the dvr.
